Deletion of User Account in the Ping Alive App

The Ping Alive app allows users to create an account to access its full features. According to Google Play Store policies, the app must also provide a simple and accessible way to delete user accounts. Below, we explain how you can delete your account both within and outside the app.
Deleting Your Account Within the App
To delete your account directly in the app, please follow these steps:
Confirm the deletion of your account. This process cannot be undone.
Deleting Your Account Outside the App
If you no longer have access to the app and wish to delete your account via our website, please send an email to support@finestkind.work with the subject "Delete Account" and include your account UUID. Please do not send emails containing only your registered email address. Such requests will be ignored! Once processed, you will receive a confirmation that your account has been deleted.
Automatic Account Deletion Due to Inactivity
To ensure that Ping Alive's emergency functions work only with active users, there is an automatic deletion process for inactive accounts. If an account remains inactive for more than 4 weeks, the user will receive multiple push notifications prompting them to open the app and confirm usage. If no response is received, the account will be deleted automatically.
This mechanism ensures that other users are aware if an emergency contact is no longer using the app and is therefore no longer reachable.
